The media center is the first classroom you see when you walk through the front door of Jefferson High. It is centrally located to all other classrooms as it serves as the learning hub of the school.
As the largest classroom in the school, our mission is to play a central role in teaching and learning on a daily basis. We provide an energetic, collaborative learning environment that encourages student investigation and creation of ideas. We support students, teachers and all members of the Jefferson community in becoming responsible consumers and users of information and technology. We actively promote technology integration and literacy skills into the curriculum and foster a love of reading and life-long desire to learn. Come visit to see us Teach, Learn, and Create.
Hours Monday – Friday 7:45 a.m. – 3:55 p.m.
